He entered the Insights world 30 years ago and has accumulated extensive experience in data collection, experimental design, data analytics, qualitative, forecasting and sensory. There's simply no tool or technique he has not looked into, especially in FMCG (food & beverages, personal & home care).

She is currently MD of Firestar, an insights-based marketing consultancy operating in SE Asia, which champions human understanding as a basis for business decision making. Sophie is a passionate advocate of qualitative research as a tool for business growth.

Katrin studied Business Studies and Japanese Studies in Berlin. After working at one of the biggest advertising agencies in Germany on FMCG accounts, she has since specialised in cross-cultural semiotics and qualitative market research to make sense of what consumers really meanShe currently works in commercial semiotics and owns a qualitative research agency, collaborating with strategists and researchers around the world, and teaches at several higher education institutions.

Oana has graduated from the Faculty of Psychology at the University of Bucharest. She set up Anamnesis, the first qualitative research consultancy, in Romania in 2004 and has been in the qualitative field since. On Fridays she wears the psychotherapist hat at her family, couple and child psychotherapy practice.

Siamack is the ethnography guy. With more than 28 years’ experience pioneering developments in the field. As well as running in-house research units at several major international communications agencies. His extensive career has seen him found successful research businesses, and develop the world’s first mobile ethnographic research app. He also lectures in observational research at leading universities in the UK, France and India, and is a visiting fellow at King’s College London’s Department of Management.

Sami is a cross-cultural psychology fanatic, and her multi-cultural background (Australian, Chinese, and Japanese) enables her to gain different perspectives and deeper understanding about how culture works. Sami is a regular contributing blogger on QUAL360 and MRMW, a visiting psychotherapist at a leading university in Beijing, and China Global Television Network (CGTN) programs, such as China 24 and Asia Today.
